The Matai is an orthotic-friendly Mary Jane on the Koru collection. This style has a padded heel cup for stability and features an angled Velcro adjustable strap over the instep for added support and comfort. The front portion of this shoe has a unique pattern 'swirl' detailing with other features such as padded technical lining to provide additional comfort and remove moisture. This style also features NAOT's removable anatomically-correct cork and latex innersole which is wrapped in soft suede which moulds to the foot with wear. The NAOT Women’s Koru Collection features a 3.54cm polyurethane sole which is extremely lightweight, flexible, and durable.

I was a little disappointed with the colour, quite a bit darker than the picture shows on my screen, but I'm getting used to it. This is my 3rd pair of Matai Naot shoes. The other two have worn out from wearing them so much.
I have developed a bunion and found the new ones tight, following the podiatrist's suggestion to pad up and put thinner inserts inside. Haven't worn them a lot as yet, but I know they'll be great once I break them in.
